WILL INDIA DEPENDENCY BE FOREVER, ON FOREIGN NATION'S FOR IT'S DEFENCE REQUIREMENTS?

From the time of Independence,

Indian govt have rely on foreign defence product's to full fill their armed force's requirement's,but have they ever took a step towards self-reliance.The answer is "yes" !.

they have set up the dept and agency to reduce the number of imported product's,

but let's not be harsh, as the govt doesn't have the technology and no nation provides it's technology to other nation,no matter how close they are,

also defence industry is of billions,as many nation's make more money by selling it to other nation, then full filling it's armed force requirements.

The big question is will India ever reduce the dependence from foreign nation's,this answer will always be "NO" 

as nation's just don't purchase product's to protect but for, to strengthen their defence and diplomatic ties with each other

The other reason is if you rely only for your own product's then you may not full fill the armed force's requirements

,as they (armed forces) want product's which fits too their parameters to fight and get useful advance technology to keep update 

and every nation technology is different from others.

Now let's talk about India failure and success in making their own product's.Govt of India did started the agency such as DRDO

,HAL 

and other defence public sector undertaking,but they have not succeeded as for various reason 

FAILURE POINTS

:Talented and skilled people are not working for particular project

:Talented and skill People are not appointed or

 held responsible to deliver latest cutting edge technology within the time frame

:Person appointed at higher or any post is not of armed force ex officer

:Armed force's ex officer's are not involved neither the force's requirement's have been asked or considered while working on the products

:Funds given are mostly utilised for perks and salaries,

while for research and technology money doesn't even reach. 

as mostly any firm of any sector who spent in R&D,whether it's for defence or for public,utilise major fund for R&D 

:People who work in this def PSU are relax. as they can deliver the finished product anytime,they're not bothered ,nor does they feel the pressure to do so,as they believe they're working not in def industry but as in a bakery shop,which can deliver or not as they feel.

:Most of the time the finished product reach to armed forces they are like a product which is in last stage, as another technology is well ahead to outrun them,because of this and govt pressure our armed forces have to accept such sub standard product's which can not be used for training also,

 such products are only to showcase to their trainee officer's about such weapon's were in the world military.

:Govt involving Indian pvt players into the R&D to produce products, is very less.

:Govt wait for particular report, to work on the recommendation's 

and the bureaucrats which are in defence dept, doesn't consider or working jointly with the armed forces

: Particular dept such as HAL or DRDO is not appointed to full fill particular task,such as HAL., it's job should have been to bring latest cutting edge technology or advance the existing technology in aero dept, 

but they mostly work on upgrading the existing product's for year's such as sukhoi,MIG 21 and so on.

On the other hand the DRDO whose primary job should be to provide latest cutting edge tech radar,missile,rocket and other things related to only this

, is also working to produce various type of guns,vehicles and so on.

:Other defence PSU are not delivering those things and are relax, also they're not hold accountable for the failure in defence industry. and so many tax payer money being wasted only for their salaries.

POSITIVE THINGS !

:DRDO has succeed in providing missile such as BRAHMOS

,AGNI SERIES

 and the reason behind is that, thisagency forte to excel and succeed is in, missile !!!

:HAL has deliver TEJAS, INDIA first LCA to the AIR FORCE 

and very soon they will provide different version to the INDIA NAVY, 

though it's still not confirmed how much it fits to the air force parameter, but i believe, it's better we start on something which is of our own then rely on others !

:HAL has also launched helicopter and is being used in the armed forces names are DHRUV

,RUDRA

,and is also working to provide it's first LCH 

to the INDIAN ARMY 

and AIR FORCE.,

                                     

having our own LCH will help us to fight enemy!, in any region as it will be made for Indian armed forces,so it will mostly full fill the requirements and help India to develop much higher advance combat helicopter in future !!!,as INDIAN ARMED FORCE'S  has not operated such fully combat helicopter ever.

: "ARIHANT" this name and product has made INDIAN NAVY and INDIA a self reliance nation !, 

as it is a nuclear powered ballistic missile, having it, in our navy will help Indian engineer's too develop more advance and full fill INDIAN NAVY requirements to be power full under the sea and operate and fight with the enemy to any extend

:"K 5" submarine launched ballistic missile (SLBM) is another feather to make India, rely less on other and protect it's interest and people.

:UAV "RUSTOM" though this UAV is still underdeveloped but this will help Indian armed forces a lot as it may have the capabilities to provide surveillance 

and hit target as USA predator does it.

This UAV will be a game changer to Indian armed forces and a Satan for the enemy.

I personally believe, govt should set up special team to provide and too keep it update,so it can keep being most lethal to our enemy and have best product by air to check our enemy movement !!! .

If the govt looks to the negative things and work on it, then India will surely won't rely on other nation and sell their own, for diplomatic and friendly ties
